The family procession transporting the remains of the late Dr. Joseph Arthur Gosnell - Sim’oogit Hleeḵ will be departing Terrace at 11:00am on Friday August 21, 2020.  Upon arrival in New Aiyansh at approximately 12:30pm a ceremony will be held at Nisg̱a’a Lisims Government to honour our Nisg̱a’a Ambassador. 

With Provincial Health Orders still in place with respect to large gatherings, the NLG Communications team will provide the Ceremony via Facebook Live on our Facebook page - and all, near and far are encouraged to tune in.

Nisg̱a’a Lisims Government is also working with Canada’s First Nations Radio (CFNR) to provide livestream of the Memorial Service for Dr. Gosnell.  Further details will follow once the family releases the official notice of arrangements.
