Elder/Youth Walk
In honor of our youth, our future leaders:The Simgigat and Sigidimhanak will be walking the students to Nisga’a Elementary Secondary School on September 6, 2011.(Elders to bring their regalia, drum, etc)7:30 am – 9:00 am: Nisga’a Valley Health Authority will be serving breakfast at the New Aiyansh Auditorium with the assistance of Gitlaxt`aamiks Meals on Wheels program.9:00 am: Students begin walking to School lead by simgigat, sigidimhanak and Nisga’a cultural dancers.9:30 am: Simgigat and sigidimhanak present students by tribe to school personnel and teachers.
