On September 12-13, 2009, communities will be uniting at FNESS' inaugural Public Safety Conference in Terrace. If you are involved or interested in fire protection, emergency planning, public safety, emergency social services, public health, first aid or community safety, this event provides an educational and networking opportunity not to be missed.

The conference is free to attend and features speakers from a wide range of organizations including First Nations fire departments, the Provincial Emergency Program (PEP), Red Cross, RCMP, the Emergency and Health Services Commission, Regional Districts and Municipal Fire Departments. Sessions will address cross-disciplinary issues such as recruitment and retention, governance support, integration, liability, funding and training.
