The Indigenous Adult and Higher Learning Association has announced the availability of the Dr. Jacob McKay Honour Scholarship. Two awards of $2,000 each will be provided annually.

The scholarship is available to aboriginal students. Eligibility and application requirements include:

1. Will be continuing at a BC post-secondary institution (college or university) in fall of 2011;
2. One letter describing education journey & your goals;
3. Two letters of reference; and
4. Your most current school transcript.

The application deadline is June 20, 2011.
