Gingolx Writing Contest
The village of Gingolx sponsored their first writing contest through the Gingolx Education Department. The first story writing contest was an open theme and open to anyone from the village who was 19 or older.
Judging
Laurie Phillips, Bob Laval and Marian Laval were the judges for the contest. The judges live in Terrace and are professionals who are also certified teachers. They all have a love of reading and books as well as an enthusiasm for helping inidviduals reach their personal best. Each judge received a copy of the stories, without any names attached. Each judge then picked their personal top 5, and then the group got together to decide on a mutual top 3. It wasn't easy! Many thanks to the judges.
