The base repair work that commenced July 9, 2015 at Black Point is now complete.

Nechako North Coast has now begun base repair work 1 kilometer west of the Xnukw Bridge.  Crews are excavating in the west bound lane.  Once complete, crews will then repair the shoulder at the excavator accident site outside the Nisga'a Village of Laxgalts'ap.

NNC expects repairs at both sites should be complete by then end of the week - Saturday August 1, 2015.

As there will be no traffic control persons on site in the overnight hours, the site will be set up with prominent signage and lighting, including:

• Placing an R-56 ("Yield to Oncoming Traffic") sign in the westbound lane
• Placing flashing/blinking barriers
• Using additional delineators/cones.
