NAIG Series: Perry Terrell, Jr. - Under 19 Boys Basketball

“I always keep in mind that when I stop training, someone else is a step ahead of the game” says young dedicated athlete Perry Terrell, Jr.  “So to keep a dream come true, is to keep on believing, you can do whatever your mind allows you to do, don’t set barriers, set goals & have a positive attitude about life.”

After participating in the Team BC tryouts, Perry has demonstrated incredible commitment in preparing himself for the games.  He has also spent numerous hours training for high school basketball and with his home team the Sons of Gingolx.

Perry is 17 years old and is in the Gisk’aast (Killerwhale) tribe from Wilps Ni’isy’uus.   His parents are Sally C. Stephens and Perry Terrell, Sr.  Perry has been living in Prince Rupert where he goes to school and is originally from the Nisga’a Village of Gingolx.

Perry wishes all his fellow Nisga’a athletes participating in NAIG good luck in whatever sport they are competing in.

We thank Perry’s mother Sally for providing us with his information and photo.

Keep up the positive attitude Perry and play hard at the games!
