Newly elected Village Councillor for Gitwinksihlkw takes oath of office at Nisga'a Lisims Government
On May 23, 2019, Nisga'a Lisims Government is proud to announce the swearing-in ceremony of Axdii Sga k'aax, Andrew Nyce. Councillor Nyce was the successful candidate for the May 15, 2019 By-election for Council member for the Nisga'a Village of Gitwinksihlkw. The ceremony was conducted by the In-House Legal Councel team along with the Chairperson Council of Elders, Sim'oogit Ni'isyuus. Honourable member Andrew Nyce is from Gitwinksihlkw, BC and is from the house of Wii Gadin Xsgaak gans Baxkap of the Laxgibuu tribe.
