On behalf of Nisga'a Nation, President H. Mitchell Stevens sent a letter to Ms. Melanie Mark, MLA, on her recent by-election victory in the riding of Vancouver-Mount Pleasant.

Melanie becomes the first aboriginal woman to be elected to the BC Legislature.
