The 58th Annual All Native Basketball Tournament was another one for the books for all the veteren athletes and the fast upcoming young all stars. From fundamentals to techniques, being a team player, all teams showed heart, courage, and respect for their opponents as a taught tradition in local tournaments and the ANBT.
It was most fascinating to see coaches and veteran teammates work with young stars to adapt to large audiences with energetic vibes. As a result of some great ball, Player of the game T-shirts and trophies of all types were awarded to great ballers who are now role models for upcoming young contenders. Many will continue to keep up with training and compete in other tournaments near and far. Be sure to follow, keep posted, and support their next community fundraisers.
Nisga'a fans from all over came out to cheer on the Nisga'a teams which gave the players stronger momentum as they held Nisga'a flags high and wore colors proudly. It was great to see many Elders from the Nation attend to show their support and it was truly an inspiration to the players to have strong support as such.
The Nisga'a Vendors worked hard all year to prepare for large events such as the ANBT and the upcoming Hobiyee 2017, so be sure to support your local Nisga'a Business's and non profit groups. The Nisga'a Vendors 2017 Film can be found here---> Nisga'a Vendors 2017 Film
