The Nisga'a Lisims Government Executive passed NLG Executive Resolution 2019/67 to amend the Nisga’a Post-Secondary Assistance Policy on May 23rd.

The primary amendments reflected in the Nisg̱a’a Post-Secondary Education Assistance Policy 2019 include:

• Reinstatement of funding after it has been terminated
• Program monitoring and review
• Exceptions to Full Time funding requirements
• No travel assistance for Part-Time sponsorship
• Reporting requirement and schedule
• Addition of forms and report template

The amended Policy takes effect immediately, therefore students who will be applying for funding on or before the June 15, 2019 deadline, should do so with this new, amended policy.
