It’s here! The Great British Columbia ShakeOut drops tomorrow.

At 10:20 a.m., more than 770,000 British Columbians will Drop, Cover and Hold On as part the world’s largest earthquake drill.

With just one day to go, now’s the time to remind schools, businesses and organizations to take part and strengthen their seismic safety.

It’s not too late to register. Enrollment is just a click away at www.shakeoutbc.ca/register.

To make your drill all it can be, here are few final considerations:

• Visit the ShakeOutBC Resources page for guides, manuals and more.

• Use this calendar invite to remind you to practice your Drop, Cover and Hold On tomorrow at 10:20 a.m.

• Run the ShakeOutBC drill broadcast and safety videos as part of your drill.

• Share your ShakeOut experience on social media. Follow what others are doing for ShakeOutBC on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using the #ShakeOutBC hashtag.

• When the drill is over, take time to consider your level of personal preparedness. Our partner PreparedBC has everything you need to create an emergency plan and emergency kit.
