Peter Thomas McKay of New Aiyansh will receive the Cultural Heritage and Diversity Award of Excellence from the BC Representative for Children and Youth for his work to better the lives of children and youth.

The Awards of Excellence recognize four individuals and two organizations for their commitment to and focus on improving the lives of vulnerable children. Award winners will be recognized at a dinner on October 20, during the 2008 Champions for Children and Youth Summit in Vancouver.
