On August 26, 2016 the Nisga'a Business Development Fund was funded to Kevin

Febril who is the owner and operator of Wandering Bear Concession and Catering.

Chef Kevin Febril is the founder of the business and has been working throughout many different areas of the culinary industries since 2008 he specializes in from scratch sauces, cured and smoked meats. As well as being an accomplished butcher who has worked for years in many high end restaurants as a sous chef for three years with very diverse culinary background experienced in all aspects of food preparations and techniques.

Wandering Bear event catering is a medium size event catering mobile kitchen.  They also utilize and prioritize the local product services. They are capable of catering for full scale wedding events for as many as 100 people and will also be equipped to run full scale food truck services throughout the day for longer events.

The objectives of Wandering Bear Concession is to strive to be the best local catering and event food coordinator.  They will provide great customer service from scratch foods and seasonal menu changes throughout the year. They will also provide many healthy options and dietary specialized substitutes.

The mission statement is to provide Terrace and area with a unique truly from scratch and in-house processed and cured smoked meats accompanied with their amazing BBQ sauces and in-house made aioli's along with their seasonal throughout the year

On July 19, 2016 the Nisga'a Business Development Fund was funded to Michael Davis who is the owner of Bust-a-Move DJ Services.

 Bust-a-Move DJ Services is a mobile Disc Jockey (DJ) service operating in Northwest British Columbia. They have several years of experience as moible DJ's. They provide some of the best musical entertainment in the area and they can provide exceptional sound, lighting and PA services for businesses, meetings, conferences and social events.

The target market for their DJ service is mainly wedding couples but they also provide sound system rentals for organizations that require Public Address (PA) systems and other sound and audio needs.

 In the Northwest region they have gained experience covering events from the Nass Valley to Terrace to Port Simpson to Burns Lake. Their business has stayed under the radar as they only did this for family and friends and since they are doing more events they have been called upon to do staff parties, conferences, graduations and anniversaries.

 In addition to audio and lighting needs they are preparing to expand their wedding services and other special events to include photo booth rentals. This is something no other DJ service offers in Northern BC.

G'Alexcee Safety Service Inc. is a start-up security corporation offering an extensive line of Basic and Advanced Security with K-9 detection and patrol services. The firm consists of four officers witha combined industry experience of over 25 years. The company was formed to take advantage of the significant weakness and inadequacies in local, regional and national security and protection companies in terns of professionalism, quality and customer satisfaction.

G'Alexcee Safety Service Inc. will be created as an Aboriginal corporation based in Terrace and Prince Rupert, BC. The firm will be owned and operated by its principal investor. Their primary office will be located in Terrace, BC with satellite offices in Prince Rupert and Gitlaxt'aamiks.

Their firm's primary target market will be the Northwestern BC, Mining and LNG camps, construction sites and community events with a focus market segment within their geographic market that will include commercial facilities and security consulting and training services.
