2018 Special Assembly of the Nisg̱a’a Nation
The 2018 Special Assembly of the Nisg̱a’a Nation will take place in the Nisg̱a’a Village of Ging̱olx from May 7 - 11, 2018.
This year’s theme: Our Stories, Our Strength: Celebrating the Resilience of Our Ancestorspays tribute to the generations of Nisg̱a’a men and women who persevered for the Nisg̱a’a Nation to achieve the Nisg̱a’a Treaty.
Nisg̱a’a Lisims Government is very pleased to once again provide livestream access for Nisg̱a’a citizens unable to attend the Assembly in person to receive reports. The livestream schedule will include Reporting sessions, lunch hour presentations and evening activities. Please note, in the interest of delegate privacy, Question Periods will NOT be livestreamed.
Nisg̱a’a Citizens observing the Special Assembly via livestream are welcome to submit questions in respect of all reporting sessions on the agenda. Questions may be emailed to assembly@nisgaa.net and Assembly staff will ensure the presenters receive questions. Questions submitted via email will also be included in the Special Assembly Summary Report following the Assembly.
