The people of the Nass Valley have reclaimed more than 330 precious cultural artifacts, from headdresses to masks, many of which are now on display at Hli Goothl Wilp-Adokshl Nisga’a—the new Nisga’a Museum.

Reconciliation Canada is a charitable project, established as a collaboration between the Indian Residential School Survivor’s Society and Tides Canada Initiatives Society. This project engages Canadians in meaningful dialogue to build stronger relationships between Aboriginals and non-Aboriginals and to build resilience in our diverse community.

Nass Valley Idle No More Supporters March in Gitlaxt'aamiks

Nass Valley supporters of the Idle No More movement sweeping the country took to the streets in the NIsga'a VIllage of Gitlaxt'aamiks in a show of support for the national grassroots movement.

The Friday afternoon Nass Valley march took place as hundreds of protestors converged on Parliament Hill while First Nations leaders met with Prime Minister Stephen Harper in Ottawa.

Idle No More protests continue to be staged throughout the country.
