Today we are happy to offer a Personal Discovery Series:  Career Planning Exploration within the Nass Valley. We are extremely excited to have joined together with Minerva Foundation for BC Women.

Combining our strength within the Nisga’a Nation to assist our women of all ages we are proud to offer through featured workshops:

• Visioning and Values: create a vision and define your values to determine what your truly want and reach for with confidence.

• Preference Assessment:  self-awareness, find what best suites you, identify possible barriers and road blocks

• Communication: Awareness of others, learn how to be understood, understand the different kinds of communication

• Managing Change: gain an awareness of how to manage change and success, learn practical tools to help manage change

• Cover Letter and Resume writing: learn effective cover letter and resume writing techniques, and how to get noticed

• Interview Skills: learn the necessary skills for a successful interview

• Negotiation: Develop the communication style and learn the techniques needed for effective negotiation

• Mentorship: Develop industry connections, more motivation

• First Impressions: Learn how to present yourself in person and on paper in a way that creates a great first impression.

Workshops will be held in Laxgalts’ap Community Centre, lunch will be served each day along with child minding. We are happy to assist with any travel as needed.
