An intense low pressure centre approaching the British Columbia coast is producing strong outflow winds through the valleys and inlets of the north and central coast. The low will also bring very strong southeast winds to exposed sections of west and North Vancouver Island early this morning.

The strong winds will ease over Vancouver Island later this morning as the low moves northward and out of the region. Strong outflow winds will persist over the north and central coast until Thursday before gradually abating as the low weakens.
