The Nisga’a Growth Corporation (NGC) is pleased to announce a search is underway for an experienced and collaborative executive leader to be the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as a key step in the launch of the NGC. The NGC will be a strong economic entity with a central social mandate to assist in defining the future prosperity of the Nisga’a Nation, with mandated separation of business structures and political structures of the Nation. The position of CEO is a critical and visible position, and offers a rare opportunity for an Indigenous leader or individual with a proven track record of success and experience in Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses to take the helm of a key entity for the future economic prosperity of the Nisga’a Nation.
