January 21 NVHA COVID-19 Update
Since yesterday’s report, Nisg̱a’a Valley Health Authority’s Medical Director has reported one additional positive test result and one more person has recovered, so we now have 20 people with “active” infections; 11 COVID tests were performed yesterday and we have 26 results pending.
Sadly one of our elders passed away while in hospital on Tuesday night. We extend heartfelt condolences to the family.
Since some of the new positive test results are part of new clusters and not necessary linked to the clusters that started in December, we are no longer reporting testing statistics from the December clusters. The report below is from all tests we have performed in the valley since starting in March 2020.
