Road Closure between Gingolx and Laxgalts'ap - UPDATES

10:08 AM: Received a call from the Ministry of Transportation. Highway rock slide has been determined by slide experts that it is safe to proceed with clean up. It should be cleared for travel by 12:00 pm today.

8:01 PM: An urgent advisory that there is a rock slide on the highway between the Laxgalts'ap and Gingolx. The road is closed between those two communities until further notice. Ministry of Transportation will be investigating the severity early tomorrow morning and will provide an update upon receiving additional information.
