Calvin is a lawyer, and seven-time best-selling author. He is affiliated with the Aquilini group, who are the Canucks Hockey Team Owners. Calvin’s grandmother is Nisga’a and when he learned that Chester Moore, Sim’oogit Hay’maas was at the Vancouver General Hospital, he paid a visit to him. He also presented a signed Daniel Sedin Jersey to Sim’oogit Hay’maas and three autographed books.

Shortly after he presented the signed Canucks Jersey to Corinne McKay, for the Nisga’a.

The signed jersey was reluctantly handed off to the NLG Chief Executive Officer, Collier Azak, shortly after.
