Kendra "Keni" Sampson, Sga Dals Ksit, age 15, is ksim lax-tsimilx, laxsgiik from Wilps Hleek from Gitwinksihlkw. She resides in Lax kw'alaams. 

With the help and commitment of Keni's coach Siri Svensson, family, and friends, Keni has successfully made it into team BC NAIG summer games. Keni has been working hard, balancing school, work, and athletic life. Because she is such an active member of the community in her hometown of Lax Kw'alaams, the support has been overflowing with donations and successful fundraising. 

Keni would like to thank the Lax kw'alaams economic development for the financial contribution. As well as the Lax kw'alaams band for their financial contribution.

Keni would like to give a very big thank you to her coach and mentor, Siri "Benson," for being that "father" figure and lifetime friend. Without Siri's strong support and commitment as Keni's coach, she would not be where she is today, making her way to Halifax to represent her people. T'ooyaksiy niin Siri. Luu-aamhl goodiy!
