Highway & Road Conditions

With improvements to Nisga'a Highway 113, and the completion of the highway extension to the seaside village of Gingolx, visitors from around the world are arriving to explore Nisga'a Lands. Roads are generally in good condition, but make sure to check local weather/road conditions. Spring in the northwest will be in full bloom by early May. If you have the time and interest you could travel by ferry to Prince Rupert and then follow the Skeena River via Highway 16 to Terrace—it’s a spectacular drive. If you're coming from the east you could take the train from Prince George to Terrace. The train runs 3 times a week.
