Although a tsunami along B.C.'s coast is a rare but real threat - it is important for our coastal communities to know the risks and be prepared.

Emergency Management BC has developed some excellent resource materials for BC residents.  One of which is the attached "Earthquake and Tsunami Smart Manual" - a guide for families to understand the science of earthquakes and tsunamis and to prepare by putting together an emergency supplies kit and create a family disaster plan.
