Indigenous youth are leading change across their communities — and the Senate Committee on Indigenous Peoples wants to hear from them!

Voices of Youth Indigenous Leaders brings together First Nations, Métis and Inuit youth aged 18–35 from across Canada to share their stories, leadership journeys and visions for the future directly with senators.

Applicants are invited to submit a written brief or a creative piece that reflects their experiences, leadership, ideas or aspirations. Selected participants will be invited to travel to Ottawa from October 27 to 29, 2026, to appear before the committee, meet senators, connect with fellow youth leaders and take part in special activities. All travel and accommodation expenses are covered.
