July 14 to 16, 2025 and Graduation Dinner on July 17, 2025

The Bears Lair Dream Camp, held from July 14 to 16, 2025, provided an incredible opportunity for Nisga’a Youth to development entrepreneurial mindset. This camp encouraged participants to step outside the box. Through engaging activities, games, and ice breakers with the camp mentors, the youth were able to build confidence and develop their business ideas.

Over the course of three days, the youth worked collaboratively to create business and marketing plans with a simulated budget of $10,000. The creativity and passion displayed in their ideas were truly inspiring. From a local grocery store to an entrepreneurial mall and Nisga’a Adventures, the youth showcased innovative thinking and a bold vision for the future.

At the end of the camp, it was rewarding to see the participants realize that the possibilities are limitless, and they are capable of great things. I have enjoyed coordinating this event in collaboration with our generous sponsors. The success of this program speaks volumes about the potential within our youth and the importance of providing them with these kinds of development experiences.”
