Vetter Falls Lodge Welcomes Guests to Nisga’a Lands


November 23, 2022, Gitlaxt’aamiks (formerly New Aiyansh), BC: Vetter Falls Lodge is now open for bookings and welcoming visitors after being closed for nearly two years due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The lodge, located on Nisg̱a’a Lands 90 kilometers north of Terrace, is nestled in lush old growth temperate rainforest near scenic Ts’itksim Aks (Vetter Falls). Accessed by Nisg̱a’a Highway #113 near the Nisg̱a’a Village of Gitlaxt’aamiks, Vetter Falls Lodge offers comfortable and welcoming accommodations in close proximity to the Nisg̱a’a Visitor Center, the Nisg̱a’a Museum in Laxgalts’ap, and other attractions.

Vetter Falls Lodge is ideally positioned along the Nisg̱a’a Highway’s highly rated auto tour route, a well-marked route through Nisg̱a’a Lands, culture, and history that takes visitors to dramatic and memorable stops all within an easy walk of the Nisg̱a’a highway.

Wholly owned by the Nisg̱a’a Nation, Vetter Falls Lodge offers bed and breakfast style accommodation in a main lodge as well as a separate cabin. Four double occupancy rooms are available in the main lodge while the cabin has a loft and three double occupancy rooms.

The lodge is currently operated as an Airbnb by host Sally Stephens. Guests will enjoy a daily continental breakfast as well as access to the lodge’s fully-equipped kitchen to prepare meals.
