Gitlaxt'aamiks (New Aiyansh) is the hub for health services for the Nisga'a Nation. Our community operates the diagnostic centre under the direction of Nisga'a Valley Health Board. The centre has a full-time doctor and nurse on-staff, offers scheduled dental services, mental health services and scheduled optometric services. Other program & services offered through Nisga'a Valley Health Board include the community health rep program, Drug & Alcohol preventative services, the Brighter Futures program, and Home Care services.
