Nisga’a Lisim Government Executive approved the creation of Nass Area Enterprises Inc. at its November meeting. The company will work with contractors build- ing the Northwest Transmission Line (NTL). Nass Area Enterprises will provide Nisg-a’a citizens and businesses with opportunities during construction of the NTL in the Nass Area.

The Executive also approved the creation of Nass Area Properties Limited. The company will, thru a partnership arrangement, own and operate Nass Camp on behalf of the Nisg-a’a Nation.

Kevin McKay, Frederic Tolmie and Edward Allen are appointed as directors for both companies.
