On November 30, 2010 the Nisga’a Nation, acting thru Nass Area Properties Limited, completed the purchase of Nass Camp. The 115.6 acre property was owned by Terrace business man Bill Young. Young’s company Bill Nor Tillicum Lodge owned the land, while Tillicum Twin Theatre, which Young also owns, owned the buildings. The purchase of the property will help to create an economic base in the valley and supports the commercial recreation tenures the Nation holds.
