Tourism Season In Full Swing

The 2016 summer tourist season has begun!  If you'd like to be a tourist in your own back yard this summer, be sure to check out the following:

Visitor's Centre - Nisga'a Memorial Lava Bed Park:
After approximately a year and a half of work, the Visitor's Centre now features a new exhibition that includes stunning new visuals of the Nisga'a Nation, the lava flow, land, river and mountains as well as a timeline of the history of the Nisga'a Nation.  The former exhibition has also been archived and developed in to a book for visitor's to view while at the Centre.

Nisga'a Museum:
Hli-Goothl Wilp-Adokshl Nisga'a - The Nisga'a Museum officially opened its doors for the summer season on May 27, 2016 with an Open House and belated celebration of Nisga'a Day!

In addition to visiting the Ancestor's Collection, be sure to check two new summer exhibitions at the Nisga'a Museum, including: 'Along the River Bend: Celebrating 25 Years of the Fisheries Management Program' and 'Adventures with Lithics, Plumb Bombs and Trowels Abound: An Archaeological Exploration of the Nass Valley'.
