Nisga'a Lisims Government's Wills and Estates Project will provide a Legal Clinic in New Aiyansh, BC on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. The Legal Clinic will take place at the New Aiyansh Village Government building.

The lawyer will be John Bandstra of the Warner Bandstra Brown Law Firm located in Terrace, BC

Gambling Prevention Workshop

Gingolx Adult Education is holding a Gambling Prevention Workshop on Tuesday, Nov 18th.   The workshop is being presented by Bob Laval of Terrace and District Community Services Society.  Bob has given these informative and interactive workshops before and they were well received by the participants. 

Open House Gingolx Adult Ed and Media Centre

The Gingolx Adult Ed and the Media Center will be hosting an Open House to highlight work of the students and provide a fun and interactive day for community members to visit.  

Photography Workshop With Fred Seiler

Note Date Change!  

Gingolx Adult Education is sponsoring a Digital Photography Workshop with wildlife photographer, Fred Seiler.   Fred is a published wildlife photographer who lives in Terrace. His work can be viewed at grizzlytours.ca.

The workshop is happening in conjunction with a multi-media project on the Ancient Villages with funding from both Heritage Canada and Service Canada.

Tickets are $15 and are available at Nathan Barton Elementary,  Laxgalts'ap Elementary, Gitwinksihlkw, NESS and the School Board Offices or call 250.633.2228 local 1101.

Net proceeds will be donated to the Nisga'a Youth Safety Net Fund.
