Visitors to Hlgu Isgwit - PLEASE NOTE:
Hlgu Isgwit Hot Spring has great cultural significance to the Nisga’a people. You are welcome to enjoy this beautiful hot spring on the condition that you respect these practices.
Recreational drugs or alcohol are prohibited from the site and parking lot. If you are consuming these substances you will be asked to leave. You will not be eligible for a refund if you are asked to leave under these reasons.
Your pets are welcome in the parking lot but we request that you not bring them beyond the fence. As a sacred site, this is like bringing your dog inside a church.
Respect this special place by packing out garbage and depositing it into the bins we have provided. Remember the adage: Take Pictures, Leave Only Memories.
Because of its status to the Nisga’a People, Do Not Camp at the pool site or park overnight in the parking lot. A Fire Ban is in place at both the pool site and parking lot for the same reasons.
