FPCC is now accepting applications for our Arts Program: 

• Individual Artists Program 
  • Individual Artists – up to $20,000 
  • Scholarships– up to $15,000 
• Arts Strengthening Program 
  • One-On-One Arts Mentorships – Up to $30,000 
  • Arts Group Knowledge Transfer – Up to $50,000 
• Arts Infrastructure Program 
  • Organizations – Up to $50,000 
  • Community Art Spaces – Up to $75,000 
  • Arts Administrator Internships – Up to $40,000 
• Music Program 
  • Creation & Sharing – Up to $20,000 
  • Recording Engineers (Mentorship) – Up to $30,000 
  • Industry Professionals (Internship or Mentorship) – Up to $20,000 

Applications for all Arts Program areas will be accepted until September 15, 2023. 

We are also accepting applications for FPCC’s Mentor-Apprentice Program (MAP). MAP offers two program streams for different types of learners:  

• MAP – (Up to $21,300): The mentor and apprentice spend 300 hours together per year, for up to 3 years, doing everyday activities using the language.  

• MAP: Connections – (Up to $6,500): For language learners who want to strengthen their connection to their language, but at a flexible pace. The mentor and apprentice complete 100 hours of language learning per year, for up to 3 years. 

The MAP online info session is September 12, 2023! Register here. 

The deadline to apply for MAP is October 23, 2023.  

And finally…the FirstVoices Keyboard Survey Contest is still open! 

Are you using one of FPCC’s FirstVoices Keyboards or do you use a special keyboard to type in your language on your computer or mobile device? If so, we want to hear from you!
