Recreation Site Maintenance Worker and Invasive Plant Crew Worker

Lisims Forest Resources Limited Partnership (LFR) is accepting applications for two (2) seasonal part time positions to work on the following projects.

1) Recreation Site Maintenance; and
2) Invasive plant management

Recreation Site Maintenance Work

Recreation site maintenance work includes, but is not limited to the following activities: grass cutting, brushing, campsite cleaning, garbage and recycling collection, painting and staining, vandalism repair and replacement, any other site maintenance items identified by Supervisor.

Invasive Plant Management Work

The Invasive Plant crew work includes, but is not limited to the following activities: Training/working at different invasive plant sites within Nisga‚Äôa Lands to treat and record information.   Field work will consist primarily of standard manual and mechanical methods for weed treatments including hand pulling, cutting and bagging all flowering plants.  Office work will include data entry and assisting with report writing.

A majority of the work is field oriented, and applicants should be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
