The staff at NLG Access to Justice Department have partnered with the INN OF THE WEST BEER AND WINE STORE to run a brown bag awareness and safety campaign for the 2013 holiday season. 

Inn Of The West has supplied 500 brown bags for us to share with schools and other organizations to print safety slogans on and decorate.  These bags will be brought back to the business and be distributed to the public beginning December 21, 2013.  Thank you to all those who have taken the time to decorate the bags and print safety slogans on them, including students at Nisga'a Elementary Secondary School, Gitwinksihlkw Elementary School, Alvin A. McKay Middle School, Gitlaxt'aamiks Elders, Nisga'a Valley Health Authority Staff and after school group and the Access to Justice Staff and NLG Social Development Policy Analyst and Support.   Thanks to our elders, many of the safety messages are in both English and Nisga’a; and thank you to the INN OF THE WEST for participating in brown bag safety campaign. 

Together we can create a safe holiday season!
