NAIG Series: Adrianna Nisyok - Under 16 Females Soccer
Adrianna Nisyok is ksim laxsgiik from the house of sim'oogit Gwiix Maaw from the community of New Aiyansh. Her parents are Janet Nisyok and Ron Moore. Adrianna will be representing Team BC on the Under 16 Females Soccer team!
Adrianna attended a 3-phase try-out to be selected to represent Team BC for U16 Girls Soccer in the 2023 North American Indigenous Games in Halifax, NS. Adrianna has played soccer since she was a young girl with Terrace Youth Soccer Association. She has had many opportunities throughout the years playing and being selected for the Whitecaps Academy HPP teams in 2019 and 2020, where she played in the PacNW Winter Classic in Tukwila Washington in January 2020. She was also invited to play with Prince George Timberwolves U15 Girls Soccer team at SX cup in Surrey in September 2021. More recently, she has also had the opportunity to represent with the NIFA U15 Girls soccer team in the Dominican Republic in 2022. Adrianna thanks Mom and Dad, Grandparents Wayne and Gloria, Auntie Adrienne, brothers Jaydon and Rodney, and numerous family for their continued love/support.
