Dakota Price is Ksim Laxgibuu and hails from Wilps Duuk'. Dakota's parents are Marcina Wright and Willie Price.  Dakota is from Laxgalts'ap but resides in Terrace.

Dakota would like to express her thanks and gratitude:
I did not find basketball till grade six I had started going to basketball camps at that time with terry monture and his son, I fell in love with ball handling and from there terry would take the time to train me aside from his camps but It wasn’t til around the tenth grade that I took things seriously with basketball but from there I would train with them all the time not as much as I’d like since having to take on more responsibilities with two jobs and all but as much as I can along with still going to the gym to lift weights every day. I would like to thank my family and friends and everyone who has supported my fundraisers (and my parents for setting up the fundraising) or has reached out to me throughout these trips to training camps, tournaments, and to naig itself. I would like to especially thank NLG that has supported everyone of my trips throughout with funding.
