The first order of business in today's opening of Wilp Si'ayuukhl Nisga'a (WSN) was the Oath of Office ceremony for newly elected Gitlaxt'aamiks Village Councillor Denise Eli.

Denise was the candidate declared elected in a notice of official results published by the Nisga'a Elections Officer on July 22, 2013.  Eli was victorious in a comfortable margin in the by election that took place on July 17, 2013.
