A group of Nisga'a Youth have embarked on a river rafting journey on the Nass River earlier today. The youth launched at the Old Aiyansh landing on August 18 and are making their way down river, camping at various points along the way.  While camping the youth will have the opportunity to hear stories from Nisga'a elders, share meals and explore and learn about various sites from elders and NLG lands staff. 

The youth will end their journey in Gingolx later this week.  The youth are guided by Skeena Valley Expeditions based out of Terrace and the trip was made possible by NLG's Youth Organizing Youth (YOY) Program.
