NLG Fish & Wildlife takes 1st Place in Out of Town category at Seafest
President Eva Clayton warmly greeted by parade onlookers at the 40th Annual Seafest Parade in Prince Rupert on Saturday June 9, 2018.
The Nisg̱a’a Lisims Government Fisheries and Wildlife Department entered the parade with a boat beautifully adorned with colourful salmon that were the artistic creations of the elementary students at Nisga’a Elementary in Gitlax̱t’aamiks.
The float earned 1st place in the ’Out of Town’ category.
Look out for Nisg̱a’a Lisims Government on National Indigenous People’s Day in the parade hosted by the Gitlax̱t’aamiks elders on Thursday June 21st!
