NLG supports Anti-Bullying Awareness Day

This year’s official Anti-Bullying awareness day is February 27th. Several members of staff at the NLG offices in Gitlaxt'aamiks and Terrace wore pink for anti-bullying awareness. Staff, students, and all Nisga'a communities are encouraged to show their support of this national initiative by wearing a pink shirt!

“With one in five students affected by bullying, chances are that you or someone you know is being impacted. If you’re not sure what to do, reach out to someone who can help. And remember, kindness and compassion can go a long way. If you’re being bullied, bullying someone else, or see a friend who is being bullied, take a look at the below resources.” For resources on how to handle bullying, please visit the Pink Shirt Day website.
