NLG Forest Resource Management | Wildfire risk to the Nass Valley graded a level 2 - Low Danger
Nisga’a Lisims Government (NLG) is aware of the wildfire haze within the Nass Valley. There are currently no active wildfires on Nisga’a lands. The NLG Forest Resources management are closely monitoring Nisga’a Lands and has reported that the current fire danger class is graded to a level 2— Low Danger. The wildfire situation at Big Cedar is under control.
If a forest fire is witnessed on Nisga’a Lands, please call 250-633-3000 and report the location, for BC wildfire services, call 1-800-663-5555, or *5555 from a cell phone.
