Nisga’a Fisheries Tag Recovery Program
With your help we can learn more about Nass salmon stocks.
This is a friendly reminder to all fishers that the annual computer generated draw for seven (7) prizes of $100.00 will be taking place on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 3:00 pm. If you still have tags captured from the 2022 salmon season, please return them by Wednesday, November 16, 2022 to the Nisga’a Fisheries and Wildlife Department office along with the following information for each tag:
- Species
- Capture Date and Location
- External Tag Number
- Fisher Name, Telephone Number and E-mail Address
Due to COVID-19 safety protocol, please e-mail Niva Percival at: nivap@nisgaa.net to arrange for an appointment to drop tags off prior to the draw date at the NFWD office. Office hours are: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
