Are you a Nisga'a athlete participating in the North American Indigenous Football Association (NIFA) Europe Tour?

The North American Indigneous Football Association (NIFA) Europe Tour takes place in August 2024. The soccer & culture tour will include the Eropean countries Germany, Austria, and Italy for a total of 12 days.

We want to hear from our young ambassadors (and parents/guardians for under 19 athletes) that will proudly represent the Nisga'a Nation!

Brigitte Watts takes oath of office at the Nisga'a Lisims Government Legislative Chambers

On October 24, 2023, Brigitte Watts took oath of office at the Nisga'a Lisims Government Exectutive sitting as one of the Gitlaxdax Nisga'a Urban Local representitives. Conducting the ceremony was Sim'oogit K'eexkw, Chairperson of the Council of Elders, Herb Morven, with a long time cultural practice of Ganim Siwilyeenskw and the swearing-in script left by our forefathers in accordance with Nisga'a Law.
