Outside Looking In (OLI) Youth Program benefits Nisga'a youth

A number of youth from Nisga'a communities are currently participating in the Outside Looking In hip-hop dance program at NESS.

The program works with Indigenous youth across Canada and seeks to provide them with opportunities to express themselves through the arts.  To participate in the program youth must attend both OLI rehearsals and school on a consistent basis.  Those youth who are successful in the program are rewarded with a two week trip to Toronto where they perform on stage in front of a sold-out audience, as well as a high school credit.
